Hello, from Makenzie and Parker…Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Our family has been blindsided by the news that our dad, Cary Smith, has a tumor in his stomach. The tumor is causing him to have extremely high blood pressure and dangerously low blood levels (anemia).Since January, our mom and dad have met with 3 surgeons and doctors who all agree that the tumor must be removed as soon as possible. They need to travel to the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland for more tests and surgery to remove the tumor. The testing, surgery, and recovery will take about 3 weeks. The expenses are approximately $48,000. Since our dad doesn’t have health insurance, the expenses are just too much for our family to pay. This is where we need your help! All money donated will be used for medical expenses, travel to Maryland, and previous medical bills. Anything you are able to contribute is greatly appreciated, and if you aren’t able to give at this time, just sharing our story with your friends and family would mean the world to us.Isaiah 41:10Do not fear, for I am with you;do not be afraid, for I am your God.I will strengthen you; I will help you;I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,Makenzie & Parker Smith
