I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a desperate plea to assist my friend, colleague, and mentor - Amani Odeh - who needs $150,00 to evacuate 20 members of her immediate family from Gaza.

The family has narrowly escaped to Rafah, from where they seek to cross into Egypt via the Rafah crossing, aiming to piece their lives back together after enduring devastating losses. The funds will be used to pay for costly evacuation fees, transportation, housing, and food.
For over five months, the relentless conflict in Gaza has ravaged their lives, leaving Amani and her loved ones in the grips of displacement's harsh realities. Their home and possessions were lost to the violence of bombings and ground invasions, pushing them into a daily struggle for survival. It has been four months since they last had a proper meal, with all family members experiencing significant weight loss.
Previously, Amani's family had sought refuge in Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis to escape the bombings, only to be displaced once again by a ground invasion, this time heading to Rafah.
I am reaching out for support to secure safe passage for Amani's family—20 individuals, including 10 children—through the Rafah crossing into Egypt. To achieve this, I aim to raise $150,000. Your contribution can help them start anew, away from the turmoil that has taken so much from them.
